Condon Company in White Plains, NY.
I buy most of my cherry from Lakeshore Hardwoods in Pulaski, NY, near Watertown, telephone (315) 298-6407. The have the best cherry I've seen anywhere. I have no problem buying from them sight unseen. Brian, who owns Lakeshore, is very helpful and knowledgeable.
Another supplier of hardwoods and really good quality furniture grade plywood is Rosenzweig Lumber Company in the Bronx. NYC, telephone (718) 585-8050. They have an incredible selection and stock.
